Shane Chisholm is a multitalented artist who knows how to deftly "spank the tank". The bass player, who was born in Ontario and is currently an Alberta resident, has a passion for crafting his own musical instruments. One of his most interesting pieces is an upright bass created from the gas tank of a Chevrolet Astro Minivan.

Shane performed for many years as a bass player and backup singer for Canadian artists Julian Austin, Aaron Pritchett, Gord Bamford and George Canyon. The singer/songwriter has 9 CCMA nominations to his name including nominations for Roots Artist and bass Player of the Year.

Shane's debut album, Hitchhiking Buddha, was picked up earlier this year for distribution by Canada's Fontana North, a subsiduary of Universal Music Group. Listen to his rich voice at www.shanechisholm.com
